NOT Losing Weight? Here’s Why:
Reducing Calories Doesn't Work
You think that just reducing the calories you eat will cause you to lose weight….Nope, it doesn’t work that way.
It may help to reduce calories, but actually your ability to lose weight has very little to do with the old adage: “calories in versus calories out“. That is why low calorie diets notoriously fail in the long run. You may temporarily lose some weight, but then you gain it right back after the diet is over.
Calorie counting is not that accurate. Because of incorrect labeling, laboratory errors, and differences in food quality and preparation, calorie counts recorded on food labels and websites – even those within the USDA’s nutrient databases – can be off by as much as 25%.
Your ability to lose weight actually has much more to do with how your body is functioning than calories in vs. calories out, because our bodies may not absorb all of the calories we consume, and individuals absorb calories uniquely and variably.
Together, These Will Help You to Lose Weight
1. Detoxify Your Tissues
Healthy eating plan to detoxify your tissues. Are you able to daily detoxify your tissues effectively, or are your organs overwhelmed so you're retaining toxins?
If you have a lot of toxins in your body, then you have to store them somewhere, (it’s toxic so it can’t circulate in your blood) and the tissues that store toxins are typically enlarged fat cells or extra fluid/water to dilute the toxin. This will increase your weight.
2. Use Digestive Enzymes
Do you have trouble with eating certain foods, including getting indigestion, heart burn, gas? (this indicates trouble with digestion)
3. Balance Your Hormones
If your hormones are imbalanced, that can lower your metabolic rate, making it harder to lose weight.
You must add exercise to accompany your healthy eating plan. There is also strong compelling evidence that strength training and high-intensity interval training may be especially effective for weight loss.
5. Stress Reduction
Reducing your stress will help you lose weight.
6. Get Adequate Sleep
Getting adequate sleep also improves your ability to lose weight.
7. Resolving Emotional Triggers Concerning Food
The correct nutrition can actually help you to resolve emotional issues concerning food, which will help you with your weight and body image. This can then support you further to be successful in stabilizing your weight, something which will have a long-term positive impact on your success at losing weight.
