Looking Sexy and Alive - Peak Body Efficiency-Laying Down

When you’re laying down or sleeping:

  • Back and neck should be in a straight line, just like when you’re standing

  • Always sleep on your back or side, not your stomach
  • Head and upper back should not curled forward, ie: the fetal position
  • If laying on your back, knees should be slightly bent with a pillow under them
  • If laying on your side, knees should be slightly bent with a pillow between them

  • Use a pillow that has an indentation for your head.
  • There are many cervical/neck pillows on the market, buy one that Keeps your neck straight, not flexed forward or to one side
  • Do not sleep on the couch, or in a chair, where your body, specifically your joints, are not supported, and your spine is in an unnatural position.  

These 2 photos show you terrible sleeping posture which will lead to back pain, stiffness, headaches and increased unnatural stress on the spine.
